Leaders in Training Overnight Camp
The LEAP (LIT) Leaders in Training is designed for girls ages 12 to 16 who are preparing for their first volunteer and or work experience. At Earthbound Kids, we believe in empowering young girls to become strong, confident members of society. Participants will learn about what it takes to lead, how to work well in a team, effective communication, behaviour management and much more!
Our goal in this program is to build both confidence and character through group activities and workshops that are hands on and most importantly engage all. Participants will get the opportunity to interact with our younger day-campers and work closely with a mentor counselor to help guide them to effective leadership.
This one-week overnight program for girls will consist of leading camp activities, conflict resolution training, goal setting, personal reflection activities, First Aid/CPR training and resume building. Participants will also have plenty of leisure time to enjoy traditional camp activities such as campfires, horseback riding, water play, group games and crafts.

After completing this program, the Leader in Training will be evaluated and could potentially be provided with an opportunity to return camp as a volunteer later in the summer or the following year.

Note: Registration form must be completed in full, submitted and followed with applicable fees (visa or cheque accepted) before your child’s registration can be confirmed. All Fees are in Canadian Dollars.
